Our Story
Vancouver Island changed my life.
The places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, and the experiences I’ve had out here have shaped who I am. Cedar & Fog Co. was born from wanting to capture that feeling of pushing yourself outside, earning the comfort that comes afterwards, and giving something back to the place that made it all possible.
For me, there’s nothing better than getting out and getting after it. Whether it’s a long day in the mountains, chasing blacktails through the timber, fishing the coast, or exploring somewhere new, the best part always comes after. Pulling on your favourite sweater, sitting around a fire or at the cabin, and reliving the day with the people you shared it with. That feeling is what this brand is built around.
Cedar & Fog Co. isn’t made for the climb—it’s made for the come-down.
It’s for the drive home, the dock after the boat’s tied up, the cabin porch, the campfire, and every moment when the hard work is behind you and you get to soak it all in. There’s something about slipping into something warm, dry, and comfortable after battling this wet, foggy island that just feels earned.
More than anything, I wanted this brand to become a way to give back. Vancouver Island has given me more than I could ever repay, so a portion of every purchase will go toward organizations that protect and improve the places we all love. Whether that’s supporting youth outdoor programs, maintaining trails, restoring our ocean, or helping other conservation efforts, the goal is simple: leave this place better than we found it.
